Shakunetsu no Takkyuu Musume, or also known in English, Scorching Ping Pong Girls comes from a studio called Kinema Citrus, who have animated such notable anime like Barakamon, Code:Breaker, and the piled mess that is Black Bullet.
Haifuri (High School Fleet) is battleship version of Girls und Panzer. It also fits under the category of “what can’t a high school girl do?” I swear I read the summary wrong at first. I thought it was about girls cooking on a boat. I don’t know how that happened and how wrong I was.
Amanchu does a great job of explaining the procedure of getting a license and the routines everybody go through to ensure a safe trip. Then for the people who are in touch with the material, it acts as a platform for them to talk with other (in this scenario) scuba divers or help people get into it.
Triage X is an anime from the same creator who brought us the wonderful Highschool of the Dead series (the anime you might’ve not seen, but might’ve seen the gifs). It’s about a group of assassins whose job is to get rid of the “cancer” of the world and stop their infection. I can’t tell whether Shoji Sato is saying this seriously or he’s basing this on the internet.
Ange Vierge is an anime based off of a card game, but isn’t an anime about card games. It has a lot of yuribait and bath time. I’m amazed by how much screen time the baths have.
